Tongue and lip ties are tight bands of tissue that interfere with normal oral function.
Full tongue mobility is essential for a good latch and effective milk transfer, even from a bottle.
It’s not just the outward appearance, but rather the function that is most important.
Dr. Schecter specializes in evaluating oral function and treating abnormalities.
